Have you ever stopped to think about the goals that you have made for your life?

We have all had plans and dreams about what we want to achieve in our life time. When I was in college I had thought about many things that I wanted to accomplish. Then life began to happen and many of my dreams were set aside to deal with the reality of what was going on. Instead of working on my master’s degree I was raising a family and keeping my household running. I was enjoying my children and my relationship with my husband but so many things that I wanted out of my life seemed to be slipping away with the passage of time. When my last child finished high school and entered college I decided that it was time to once again focus on some of my dreams and goals.

When I first started working I had decided that I did not want to spend my entire working life working for someone else. I knew that as an employee I was helping to make my employer rich and that I would never see the full benefits of the time and effort that I put in. I knew that the way people made big money was to start your own business. I was beginning to realize that I needed to act on this soon or I would be working longer than I wanted to. My husband warned me that I may no longer have the energy to pull this off. He felt that to start you own business you had to build from the ground level up and establish it through many years. We had agreed that we would retire in our late fifties and he was concerned that my dream to start your own business was going to get in the way of this. I told him that I at least needed to do some research into this to feel that I had at least made an attempt towards the goal. We agreed that I would not become involved in anything that would jeopardize our retirement time frames. I told him that one of my co-workers had received information to start your own business that outlined a ten year plan to make a good living. This is where I wanted to start to see if it involved something that I would be interested in.

My criteria for getting involved in a business were that it would be something I could do from home . I looked at many different sites that outlined ways to start your own business. I became involved with Clickbank, a company that has been in business for many years and offers an array of great products for me to represent. I liked the fact that I could get involved with the business while still being involved in my job so we were not losing income. Within six months I was able to quit my job and match the income that I had been bringing in. I love being my own boss and setting my own hours. It is never to late to work on your goals and accomplish your dreams.

A friend of mine got started in internet marketing due to some prodding from me, and he’s been doing pretty well. So did I help him? Well, a little…but he’s been getting most of his help from Mack Michaels’ Maverick Money Makers, and he was enthusiastic enough about it (and his results were impressive enough) that I thought I would take a look and give you my impressions.

Michaels turned the system he used to build his internet marketing business into Maverick Money Makers. He didn’t start out as some high-falutin’ marketing guy…just a newbie like the rest of us were when we started. His system is a membership club that offers comprehensive training and coaching about how to set up and work an internet marketing business that makes money.

Members get over 60 training videos with step-by-step instructions that cover:

In addition to the information and tools, you also get ongoing support not only from other members, but from the Maverick Money Makers support team. This is not just some big info package that you have to wade through and implement on your own. You’re in it together with other people who are doing the same things as you are, and who can help guide you and offer suggestions and tips as you build your business.

The information is solid, and has helped my friend not only get up and running but start earning actual money. If you’re looking for step-by-step methods for starting your IM business, and you want real, experienced support, then Maverick Money Makers is a worthwhile option for you.

CB Predators is a brand new product from some of internet marketing’s ‘big guys’: Jerome Chapman, Chris Fox, David Raybould and Mike Merz Jr. It claims to let you build high converting affiliate websites and generate traffic simply by pressing a few buttons. But dos it deliver on its promises?

Basically, the idea of this software is that it lets you launch custom, monetized websites for Clickbank products in about 15 minutes. The sites are optimized for SEO, traffic and Google rankings. You don’t need any special knowledge or skills, as the software does it for you. You simply plug in keywords and other info, and your site is built.

You can tweak your sites, of course, and the system makes this easy to do. But what about content? Well, you actually do get content that has been professionally written by experienced web copywriters, which you can use as is or spin yourself to make it even more unique.

An interesting feature is that CB Predator will assign a user limit on each Clickbank product available through the system, so that you’ll know that you’re not one of a million other people promoting the product with the same content or website. Also, because they have teamed up with some of the major Clickbank vendors, you’ll be the first to be informed about new launches and products, and therefore have a definite edge over everyone else.

CB Predators also has a members area, although it is still being fleshed out. They will be adding training for using the system, plus PPC and PPV methods as well that you can use.

Personally, I think this is going to be a great system, once some of the bugs are fixed. I was able to set up a couple of sites very quickly with this (in about 1.5 hours), without doing any tweaking or anything…though I would need to go back and tweak some things, as some of the affiliate links didn’t automatically imbed, and I did not spin any content. All in all though, this system has great potential to make life that much easier for people who want to get websites up quickly and easily.

I would have liked to see the member’s area fleshed out before launch, but they do have some very interesting things in the pipeline for members and are working very hard to get things in place.

My reading of the situation is that they had agreed to a launch  timetable with some very big affiliate marketers – and then, when  they fell behind in the development, were unable to change the  schedule.

It is a common problem as programmers rarely work to the time  frames they promise.

It is also an unfortunate side effect of JV’ing with some of the  really big name marketers. Those guys don’t wait around for you to tell them when to promote – they tell you when they have a  space in their schedule and if you miss it, you lose them.

At the top end of affiliate promotions, it is a very serious business and if you want those people to promote for you, you play by their rules.

That’s why so many launches are hurried and less than perfect on launch day. It is a clear case of not seeing the woods for the trees.

Personally, I think this over dependence on such powerful  marketers is a prime example of the tail wagging the dog. When a product is forced onto the market in an unfinished state because  it is more convenient to the top dog promoters, there is something wrong.

And inevitably, there will be trouble.

Now that that is off my chest, what is really important is what happens next. Some product developers never recover from the blow to their confidence and reputation, while others accept that they’ve made a big tactical error and get stuck in to putting things right.

I suggest you hold off on a purchase until we see exactly how and if the CB Predators team pulls things together.

Overall, I think CB Predators is going to come into its own and end up being a very useful system, but for now they’ve got a lot of work to do to repair the damage caused by coming to market with an incomplete program.

Like most internet marketers, I’ve bought and gone through several IM training courses, hoping to find the one that would help me…well, make the most money. While I’ve since realized that no one course contains the ‘magic ticket’, I do know that some courses are better than others. Commission Blueprint 2.0 is one of those courses that actually lives up (and in my opinion, over-delivers) on its promises.

Commission Blueprint 2.0 is made up of 10 modules, and includes over 50 videos, over 20 PDF’s, and a bunch of genuinely helpful software tools. You can start your internet marketing business with the information and software included in this course alone, without needing to buy anything else.

The modules I got the most value from are:

 * Finding Products To Promote – Shows you a variety of affiliate and Cost Per Action (CPA) networks, several that I had never heard of. The CPA networks are difficult to get into but can be very lucrative…Commission Blueprint has their own CPA network, so if you’ve always wanted to get into CPA, now you can easily.

 * Building Converting Sites – This is a great module. The information is great, but the best part is you get an easy-to-use site builder called Site Blueprint. You also get a service called Hippojaw, which you can use for testing, tracking and a whole bunch else, including making your own ‘Hipposense’ ads. These are like Adsense ads, but they use your own affiliate links.

 * Sales Conversion Strategies – An advanced module that covers conversion tactics, and shows you how to use Hippojaw to split test your web pages and see which ones convert. I still use this all the time.

 * SEO – This module alone is worth the cost of the course. You learn how to get quality backlinks from high ranking sites, including .edu sites, get exact linking strategy plans, learn about helpful Firefox plugins…I can’t even cover everything you get in this module, it’s so comprehensive.
 
You also get huge modules that cover Adwords, article writing, buying high PR domains, list building…and you get a host of other tools, like Article Blueprint which spins and drip feeds articles to directories.

The software they give you with Commission Blueprint 2.0 is worth more than the course itself, in my opinion. This is one IM course that actually works, and more than earns its price tag. I go back to the information time and time again in my business. In short, this is really the only actual comprehensive course you’re ever likely to need.

To make money online many people jump right in before they are properly prepared. You know that to be a rocket scientist, a doctor, a brick layer, a construction worker, an office worker, a teacher there are prerequisites, things you must learn, before you can be successful, you don’t just jump right in unprepared.

The same applies to the Internet marketing industry even though there are unsavory people out there who’d have you believe it’s a “Walk in the Park” and requires no more than the belief that you can just do it.

And I’ll have to admit, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind, but there are still rules you have to follow and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing work for you.

Most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others who will make more in one month than most people make in a whole year. Why is that?

My answer begins with the age-old chicken or egg question, “what comes first the chicken or the egg”? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion – I have no clue and I don’t think many of us do either.

But one thing I do have a clue about and know for sure is that to make money online you must first have passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you expect to make money.

Passion in this sense simply means that you’ve researched and like the company and products or services. It is then that you translate that like (or passion) into the education, excitement and work that usually accompany passion.

I will have to say that many online entrepreneurs are so good at what they do that they ignore passion because they can sell anything. But I’m concerned about those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully.

Now, I’m not trying to make anyone believe that passion is the only thing necessary. Because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join – but sidestep Passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically.

It therefore follows that, if you have no passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won’t attempt to do the work you are being taught.

Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won’t stumble.

You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, USE IT!

Your research should uncover a company that you like and have confidence in. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have passion. If you don’t find it move on, You can find the right opportunity containing the attributes identified above.

Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I’ll start that business – does not sound like a decision based on anything near passion. And remember when you hear that an Internet “guru” does that, don’t be tempted, because as I said earlier they are experienced and can sell just about anything, without being passionate about the company products and services.

Note: By the way it’s your goal to get to the point where you can sell about anything online. That end skill and goal is a worthy one indeed.

Remember, there are other steps you must make before you step into Internet Marketing but if you don’t first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success.

Not being passionate about a company and products and services that has market proof that it will sell is a pitfall you simply must avoid.
