Shortly after I released WordPress Goldmine I got an email from a guy called David Turnbull. It was very polite and professional and asked me if I’d like to try out his new wordpress plugin called WordPress Link Cloaker. It’s not everyday that I get asked to do something like this so I was more than happy to oblige.
Up to the point that David contacted me I was using a copy of WordPress Affiliate Pro. I used this in Tandem with Powerlink generator which produces Cloaked Links. I was very happy with the way these 2 products worked together even though i wasn’t too happy with the WPaffiliate pro price tag of $197..Ouch! I wasn’t too sure what to expect with WordPress link Cloaker but I have to say now that i was blown away with it.

It is just so simple to use, add a keyword, add the link, add any aliases you want to use and you are done. Thats it..nothing else to do. The Alias function allows you to add a number of words for each link so for example If I wanted to link to WordPress Goldmine or WPGoldmine it would do it for me with the 1 entry rather than multiple entrys.
One important function that WLC does is to cloak your links. If you are new to affiliate marketing you probably don’t appreciate that stealing links can be quite a big problem. If your links are uncloaked it doesn’t take much for someone to add their own affiliate code into the link and purchase whilst getting earning the commission you should have earned.

If you are Intending to do affilaite marketing with blogs i really do recommend using WLC as it will save you time and stop people stealing your commissions.

@Brody Check the Terms of service at http://adwords.google.com/select/tsandcsfinder And see if you can find any terms that you might be violating. Try to contact them in a polite manner and work out any issues. All hope of getting your account back is not lost
I usually cloak my affiliate links through godaddy. All I have to do is get a simple domain for a couple of bucks and forward it to my clickbank id.
I’m glad I found out about WordPress Link Cloaker. Now I don’t have to worry about stolen commissions.
